The 3 weeks of the Straits

July 9 through July 30, 2009

This is a dangerous time for both Israel and the United States. We MUST pray for spiritual Israel (the Church) and natural Israel for the next 3 weeks.

Bonnie had a dream this morning where she was taken into a house that had no closets, no bathrooms and new tools had fallen to the basement floor. The house was going to be sold for $59,000 due to a pending divorce of a worship leader and intercessor.

The house is the church. 2009 is a year that we must go into our prayer closets (Isaiah 26:20) and stay there until God’s wrath is past. The bathroom represents spiritual cleansing. Because the house had no bathrooms it indicates that there has been no repentance in this nation by the church.

(2 Chronicles 7:14) says that if My people, who are called by My name (God is speaking of the church here; His bride that is called by His name) shall humble themselves, pray, seek, crave, and require of necessity My face and turn from their wicked ways, (a true repentance from the heart of man) then will I hear from heaven, forgive their sin, and heal their land. (God desires to bless His children when they meet His requirements).

If we are a nation that has turned away from Christ, He will judge us first. We were founded on His principles. This is a separating of the church from God.

(Isaiah 59:1&2) Behold, the Lord’s hand is not shortened at all, that it cannot save, nor His ear dull with deafness, that it cannot hear. But your iniquities have made a separation between you and your God, and your sins have hidden His face from you, so that He will not hear.

The husband in this dream represents the Lord who in (Isaiah 59:14-16) says they (the church) have rebelled against and denied the Lord and justice is turned away backward, and righteousness stands far off; for truth has fallen in the street and uprightness cannot enter. Yes, truth is lacking, and he who departs from evil makes himself a prey. And the Lord saw it and it displeased Him that there was no justice. (no morality or moral truth) and He saw that there was no man and wondered that there was no intercessor, no one to intervene on behalf of truth and right; therefore His own arm brought Him victory, and His own righteousness having the Spirit without measure sustained Him.

So the Lord dressed in His battle gear (vs 17) to repay wrath to His adversaries, recompense to His enemies. As a result of His intervention they shall reverently fear the name of the Lord. When the enemy shall come in like a flood, the Spirit of the Lord will lift up a standard against him and put him to flight for He will come like a rushing stream which the breath of the Lord drives.

During the time of the straits, God removes His hand from Israel (both spiritual & natural) but I believe what God is saying here is if the church will intercede at this time and ask God not to remove His hand from the church, the United States and Israel like Amos did in Amos chapter 7, God will intervene on behalf of His bride. He will fight the battle.

Israel cannot pray for herself because she is not saved. That is why WE MUST PRAY for her especially at this time.
