The Scroll Opened & Unrolled

At 5 o’clock on the morning of May 27^th the Lord began to speak to me so I grabbed my pen and pad and began to write. I believe it’s a powerful message and pertinent for this time. I feel it’s important to relay His word exactly as I heard it. Therefore I’ve bolded the Lord’s word and preceded my comments with an asterisk while scripture is italicized.

“We’re going to be taught by the hand of God not man.”

*I believe God is going to hand feed the spiritually mature body of Christ. Some believers are still slumbering and still only drink the milk of the Word (1 Peter 2:2) therefore they’ve never entered into the fullness of the “living Word.” Apart from the Spirit man remains dead.

But solid food belongs to those who are of full age, that is, those who by reason of use have their senses exercised to discern both good and evil. (Hebrews 5:14 NKJV)

“And we shall feed from the wells of salvation and drink the new wine.” 

Behold, God, my salvation! I will trust and not be afraid, for the Lord God is my strength and song; yes, He has become my salvation. Therefore with joy will you draw water from the wells of salvation.  (Isaiah 12:2-3 AMPC)

*The Samaritan woman who encountered Jesus at the well received the gift of living water and she would never thirst again. (John 4) In the same way the body of Christ draws from the rivers of living water within them. In John 7:38 Jesus said, “He who believes in Me, as the Scripture has said, out of his heart will flow rivers of living water.”

*You can’t put new wine into old wineskins. (Matthew 9:16-18) There’s resurrection life in the new wine and we are the partakers of it. This is a new time, new season and fresh anointing of the Holy Spirit’s power. And it’s not going to fit into the old patterns and mindsets.

“No longer shall we be taught from the Word of God we shall be learned by the WORD Himself. Amen.”

*I sought the Lord about this because I know we always need the written Word of God. It is the infallible word and we must test all revelation we receive by it. Here is what I understand the Lord to be saying. According to Webster’s dictionary, to be taught is to give someone knowledge or to train or instruct them. To be learned is to gain knowledge or skill in a new subject or activity and make your self remember it.

*An example is that of a child that is taught the alphabet by his teacher or parent. But when he has learned it, the alphabet will be in his memory. Scripturally the best example is Moses instructions to the children of Israel regarding the Ten Commandments. He read them to the Israelites but it was up to them to learn and obey them.

And Moses called all Israel, and said to them: “Hear, O Israel, the statutes and judgments which I speak in your hearing today, that you may learn them and be careful to observe them. (Deuteronomy 5:1)

*There have been many great theologians, pastors and teachers throughout history who spent their entire life teaching from the good book. However many never knew the Holy Spirit and therefor lacked the empowerment thereof. Yet over the past century the church has made tremendous strides and spiritual breakthroughs. Many believers received the infilling of the Holy Spirit and move in the spiritual gifts. I believe we are just at the beginning of the greater works being manifest in the body of Christ through dedicated Christians. This is all part of the great end-time harvest.

*In John 14:16-17 Jesus tells his disciples that He is going away but He will ask the Father to send the Holy Spirit and He will remain forever because He will live in you. Then Jesus explains the personification of the Holy Spirit. He will teach you all things and bring everything to your remembrance. This is what is now taking place.

But the Comforter (Counselor, Helper, Intercessor, Advocate, Strengthener, Standby), the Holy Spirit, Whom the Father will send in My name [in My place, to represent Me and act on My behalf], He will teach you all things. And He will cause you to recall (will remind you of, bring to your remembrance) everything I have told you. (John 14:26 AMPC)

“Now this day I’m bringing light to dark places to illuminate My self and drawing the line for the body of believers.”

*Jesus is the Light of the world and He is illuminating dark places in the soul of believers first to bring them to repentance. God will never violate man’s free will so the choice is up to each believer whom they choose to serve, the world or God. He is the measuring rod or plumb line of our salvation and He is drawing the line in the sand for all believers. Which side shall we choose?

Then Jesus spoke to them again, saying, I am the light of the world. He who follows Me shall not walk in darkness, but have the light of life.” (John 8:12)

“Many believe but what do they believe? Everything from all sorts of sources.”    

* I believe God is steering us away from head knowledge to be led by His Holy Spirit. There are a lot of great and awesome books that help give us understanding. Unfortunately many people live their life through other people’s experiences instead of the One that truly matters. Jesus is the Word and all scripture points to Him. Our strength (faith) comes from the Lord. (Psalm 28:7-8) And He’s illuminating scripture now to reveal hidden manna but we must seek Him to find it.

“You are going to see the books close as the scroll is opened and unrolled. They shall be read by the righteous kings of the earth and taught by the holy ones I approve, appoint and anoint. Mankind shall know this is God’s doing! They shall hear My voice and the words they speak I shall validate with signs and wonders, says God. There shall be no doubt; men will know that I have spoken. Amen.”

**The book of Revelation is the disclosure of the resurrected Christ and the mysteries are now ready to be revealed. In chapter 5 Jesus, the Lion from the tribe of Judah is the only One found worthy to open the scroll. Jesus is the Lamb slain who takes the scroll and opens it. It is one scroll with 7 seals. In Luke 4:17-18 Jesus was in the temple and opened the scroll to Isaiah 61 and began reading. In the same way today He is going to unroll the scroll and begin reading. And I believe this scroll is the book Daniel had to seal. For Daniel was told to shut up the words, and seal the book until the time of the end. (Daniel 12:4)

And I saw in the right hand of Him who sat on the throne a scroll written inside and on the back, sealed with seven seals. Then I saw a strong angel proclaiming with a loud voice, “Who is worthy to open the scroll and to loose its seals?” And no one in heaven or on the earth or under the earth was able to open the scroll, or to look at it. So I wept much, because no one was found worthy to open and read the scroll, or to look at it.  But one of the elders said to me, “Do not weep. Behold, the Lion of the tribe of Judah, the Root of David, has prevailed to open the scroll and to loose its seven seals.” (Revelation 5:1-5 NKJV)

*The books that must close are the books of our life, as we know it. As the body of Christ we are told in Revelation 4:1 to come up here so we can be shown the things that are to come. We cannot see the future if we are clinging to the past. The door is standing open and the scroll is being rolled out. Are you willing to come up?

After these things I looked, and behold, a door standing open in heaven. And the first voice which I heard was like a trumpet speaking with me, saying, “Come up here, and I will show you things which must take place after this.” (Revelation 4:1 NKJV)

*As the scroll is unrolled the revelation (instruction, interpretation, understanding) shall be given to the righteous kings of the earth (Revelation 1:6) and taught by the holy ones He approves, appoints and anoints. These are saints who have walked the highway of holiness in Isaiah 35. They walk in agreement with the Spirit and obedience to the Father. I believe there are many thousands who qualify around the globe. There are almost 8 billion people on the earth and it’s going to take a great number of righteous kings to reach the multitudes.

*There will be no doubt that these saints have witnessed the contents of the scroll. They will speak the oracles of God and He will validate His word with signs and wonders following.  These are the greater works Jesus talked about. (John 14:12) These saints will move in the power and might of the Holy Spirit demonstrating signs, wonders and creative miracles on a consistent basis. Man will not question, they will know it is God’s doing. I believe the New Testament church will be established through the opening of the scroll.
