In a dream, I had traveled all over the world for a few years in search of the perfect combination of fabrics. My intention was to create an American themed blanket for my newborn daughter’s bed, when she was old enough to have a full sized bed. The colors were purposefully faded and had a Victorian look to them. The three materials that I had found had textures that were inspiring to look at individually.
 
The first was a red that, as I previously said, was faded intentionally. The different shades of red that were mingled throughout this fabric gave this piece a visual texture before the actual texturing had begun. The texture itself was a unique blend of what seemed to be a canvas-like blanket sewn beside a tight-knit crochet.
 
The second fabric that I had found was a white one that looked like the years of its existence had smoothed it into a creamier eggshell version of what it once had been. Its texture was very much like a polar fleece and I was sure that it would keep one warm through the coldest of winters.
 
The third was a much worn looking speckled deep blue. I could have lost myself in the depths of blue that this color appeared to have once had; but again the fading was intentional and even the palest section of the blue would draw the eye that had only glanced near. The texture was a thick velvet-like one, but with sections that were seemingly worn or bald.
 
The dream ended with me rejoicing to have found the final fourth piece, which I did not actually see, but knew that it was an unfaded white. My intention was to use this unseen fabric as the stars across the bedspread.
 
To begin, the dream was given to me now, because now is the time to begin assembling. That can be applied in a couple different ways. First, the different pieces need to be put together (assembled) according to God’s plan, which He will show those who are willing. Second, the church is in need of its people coming together (assembling) to intercede for this nation. Third, involves government (the assembly), or legislature (the place where our bills are passed); which the church needs to watch and pray over continuously.
 
Properly assembled the pieces made a bed covering, or a comforter. This speaks of a place of rest for those who obey the voice of the Lord. (Hebrews 4:6-7) Therefore since it still remains for some to enter that rest, and since those who formerly had the good news proclaimed to them did not go in because of their disobedience, God again set a certain day, calling it “Today.” This he did when a long time later he spoke through David, as in the passage already quoted: “Today, if you hear his voice, do not harden your hearts.”
 
“The Comforter” also speaks of the Holy Spirit, whom I believe will cover our nation if we assemble according to God. (John 14:15-17 AMP) If you [really] love Me, you will keep (obey) My commands. And I will ask the Father, and He will give you another Comforter (Counselor, Helper, Intercessor, Advocate, Strengthener, and Standby), that He may remain with you forever The Spirit of Truth, Whom the world cannot receive (welcome, take to its heart), because it does not see Him or know and recognize Him. But you know and recognize Him, for He lives with you [constantly] and will be in you.
 
I would suggest that those seven characterizations of the Holy Spirit listed above are a good place to start building with. The time for the church to move from the crib to the full sized bed is now and we need to find out what our part is and begin doing it, otherwise we will not have the full sized covering that this nation needs nor will we enter the rest that is prepared for us.
 
The blue is our revelation of Jesus. This is how God builds (Matthew 16:17-18) Jesus replied, “Blessed are you, Simon son of Jonah, for this was not revealed to you by flesh and blood, but by my Father in heaven. And I tell you that you are Peter, and on this rock I will build my church, and the gates of Hades will not overcome it.
 
Some of the revelations that we have had are worn thin; we’ve worked on them over and over. Some of our revelations are bald; there hasn’t been growth in it. We have the revelation so don’t let go of it and God will give the increase in His time; be faithful with it and continue to seek it out. Some of our revelations are so deep that it is everywhere you look. Draw everything that you can from these. Make sure that they are sound revelations and then build on them. As we build we become part of that revelation, and even the palest of revelations when built upon draws people nearer to God because essentially the revelation is of Him. Remember though only to build once you have the revelation.(James 2:17) In the same way, faith by itself, if it is not accompanied by action, is dead. Neither faith without works nor works without faith accomplishes the Kingdom of God on earth.
 

The white fabric is our righteousness (our right standing with God), which keeps us safe and warm. Even if the situations physically are not so, our hope and righteousness are secure in heaven. I believe that the creamier yellow fading represents the glory of God that is transferring over to us through God’s righteousness. (Isaiah 58:8b) then your righteousness will go before you, and the glory of the LORD will be your rear guard.

The righteousness in that verse precedes the glory. I imagine that the acts described before and after that verse shows us something on how the glory will come and what things we should be concerned with in order that it comes in our time.

(Isaiah 58:6-10) “Is not this the kind of fasting I have chosen: to loose the chains of injustice and untie the cords of the yoke, to set the oppressed free and break every yoke? Is it not to share your food with the hungry and to provide the poor wanderer with shelter when you see the naked, to clothe them, and not to turn away from your own flesh and blood? Then your light will break forth like the dawn, and your healing will quickly appear; then your righteousness will go before you, and the glory of the LORD will be your rear guard. Then you will call, and the LORD will answer; you will cry for help, and he will say: Here am I. “If you do away with the yoke of oppression, with the pointing finger and malicious talk, and if you spend yourselves in behalf of the hungry and satisfy the needs of the oppressed, then your light will rise in the darkness, and your night will become like the noonday.

 

The red is the blood, both Jesus’ and Americans’, shed in different amounts represented by the different shades of red. The crochet and canvas are pictures of both our soil and foreign lands where our sacrifices have been made. We are a country made up from and sent out to practically every other nation, which is mostly unlike any other. Men and women, free, slave, enlisted, pioneer, knowingly and sometimes unknowingly sacrificed of themselves, so that in this land there may be a heavenly standard. The sacrifice for this standard has always been, just as the heavenly standard has always been.

(Revelation 13:8b) the Lamb who was slain from the creation of the world.

(Hebrews 13:8) Jesus Christ is the same yesterday and today and forever.

The tight-knit crochet are God’s people who band together sacrificially for those who are the canvas. The canvas are those abroad; missionaries, military and pioneers who establish, promote and defend that heavenly standard. The support of the tight-knit crochet for those of the canvas and the efforts of the canvas for those of the tight-knit crochet bind the two together.

 

The unseen unfaded white fabric that was to be used for the stars represents both angels and saints.(Revelation 1:20b) The seven stars are the angels of the seven churches, (Revelation 7:14b) “These are they who have come out of the great tribulation; they have washed their robes and made them white in the blood of the Lamb.

These saints mostly unseen, adorn this nation through their obedience to the call on their lives. (Daniel 12:3) Those who are wise will shine like the brightness of the heavens, and those who lead many to righteousness, like the stars for ever and ever. The angels are co-laborers with us in the establishing of God’s Kingdom here on earth.(Revelation 22:8-9) I, John, am the one who heard and saw these things. And when I had heard and seen them, I fell down to worship at the feet of the angel who had been showing them to me. But he said to me, “Don’t do that! I am a fellow servant with you and with your fellow prophets and with all who keep the words of this scroll. Worship God!”There are angels assigned over every part of this nation and many times they are waiting for a saint to agree with God’s plan and call them into action just as we are shown in (Daniel 9:22-23a) He instructed me and said to me, “Daniel, I have now come to give you insight and understanding. As soon as you began to pray, a word went out, which I have come to tell you, for you are highly esteemed.   Being a co-laborer, with angels in the establishing of God’s kingdom in America, places both saints and angels as stars across this land; and those colors never fade.

 
To wrap up, now is the time to assemble as God’s people for this nation. Let God give us the revelation, or faith, so that we can continue the building of His kingdom here on earth. Put away our righteousness and begin operating in God’s righteousness so that His glory will soon overtake us. Don’t be afraid to sacrifice; nothing of heaven is established here on earth without sacrifice. The more that we obey and fulfill our calls and establish heaven here on earth, the more that we are established in heaven. Angels are waiting to assist us according to God’s plan; so call on them to do so. We then enter into the rest that has been prepared for us and the Comforter will cover our nation.
