The Gazing Stock

The Gazing Stock

In our bedroom, Bob saw a cross illuminated on the wall; across the crossbar was written HOPE. The scripture read (Isaiah 40:31). Those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength; they will soar on wings like eagles. They will run and not grow weary; they will walk and not be faint. Bob was given the word GAZING STOCK and shown that a Christian becomes bound in the gazing stocks.

The Mockers and Revilers

Mockers will always mock and revile the anointing. Many have denied theHoly Spirit’s lordship over their life and have seared their conscience where the Holy Spirit can no longer convict them to bring them to salvation. Don’t waste your time with these people!

Observers observe you when you are born again. They watch to see how you handle the spoiling of your old life; the goods of your life. For your life is totally turned from the world to Christ and those things that have been important to you are no longer important. Therefore those things of your old life are no good. You rejoice in the spoiling of those goods. The observer’s only hope is you on the cross; the stocks are the cross. Because you are faithful to remain on the cross gives them the courage to change.

You help their unbelief. To the weak; you strengthen. To the feeble knee, you encourage them to get upon their feet again and believe and reach forth for their calling and commissioning. They can then take their place on the road to salvation by taking their place on the gazing stock. Then those that pass by the stocks might have hope for a better life in Jesus Christ.

Justice is the parallel bar of the cross that represents morals. When you are in the stocks, your head or soul is bound so your spirit will take authority. Your soul becomes a servant to the conscience within you.

The LORD’S Wood Stocks:

Justice  & Righteousness

Man becomes publicly exposed to insults, abuse and distress when he is born again. (Hebrews 10:33, 1 Corinthians 4:9) The Lord Jesus was a gazing stock and when you’re in the stocks, your hands and head are put in the stocks too. People you know and have relationships with begin to ridicule you.

When Jesus was put in the gazing stock, three different types of people looked upon Him; the mockers and revilers, the observers and the believers. JESUS WAS A GAZING STOCK
