Body of Believers “Kiss The Son”

The Table is Set

In this dream I’m going to a meeting at a large fellowship church. To my surprise everything looks different. The stage is still there but there’s no worship team and there’s no head table. Throughout the sanctuary people are seated at round tables. There’s seating for eight and each table has a white tablecloth, a beautiful floral centerpiece, cup & saucer and silverware.
There’s a large buffet bar set on the left side as you face the stage and a smaller one in another area. Both buffets have the most delicious looking food but nobody is partaking of it. As I look at the round tables, there are no plates. Apparently no one has partaken of this wonderfully prepared food.

The Body Prophesies

At the table across from me a lady stands up and begins speaking. She is very elegant and her word is matter of fact. Although it’s brief it’s very powerful and encouraged the people. When she finished she sat down. Then a man from across the room stood up and began speaking. His message was brief but powerful as well. When he finished, he sat down and another woman in a different section stood up and proceeded to give a part of the message also. It was the body of Christ working together as one body and the glory went to God. There was never an applause given to honor the man or woman however there was a knowing and understanding that took place among the body of believers in attendance.
Absolutely no one partook of the prepared food on the buffet tables. Although it looked delicious and smelled incredible it was not what the body needed. I could see the steam rolling off of the glazed ham and beef brisket. And the fragrant aroma coming from the fresh baked rolls and bread filled the air. All of this was enticing to the natural mind and gut. But I believe this dream represents the body of Christ who has had enough food to fill them up. They need the Spiritual food to deliver them into the “Promises of God, the Promises of Yes and Amen!” It’s time for body participation! Oh yes I fully believe the body needs leaders but the body needs to be led by the Holy Spirit of Truth. I believe many leaders have placed themselves on a pedestal so high they no longer listen to the ones they serve. God speaks to His children! All of them! And many times He gives them “the word in season” instead of leadership. But leaders aren’t listening to the body so they speak out of knowledge instead of “knowing.” What’s the difference?

Knowing Through Intimacy

Knowledge is something we’ve learned in the past. And it can be a good thing and many lessons can be learned from it. It can be knowledge of Scripture or a life lesson in faith, love, hope and/or salvation learned from Scripture. It can also be knowledge of what we’ve read in books, newspapers, Wikipedia or heard on TV. But there’s a knowing that comes from intimate fellowship with Christ that all believers can enter into. And that is what I saw demonstrated here. The knowing of intimacy in Christ each of these people released was so powerful it overrode the natural mind and fed their spirit man. It’s time that the whole body partakes in ministry.

We’re Called to Kiss the Son

I believe the American church has become too organized or institutionalized instead of being personalized. I believe the Covid-19 shutdown sparked renewed relationship with Christ in the heart of believers. Romans 8:28 declares “We know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are the called according to His purpose.”  Therefore in this time of quarantine and self-distancing every Christian had the same opportunity to turn to God. Think of it, we had to self-distance from one another yet God was drawing us closer to Him. We had to cover our mouth while God was calling us to “Kiss the Son!” Kissing the Son is an act of submission and/or obedience. The Father was calling us to come up higher in Him. (Revelation 4:1) And I believe there was an endowment of spiritual knowledge and understanding bestowed to those who drew near to Him.
Kiss the Son, lest He be angry, and you perish in the way, when His wrath is kindled but a little. Blessed are all those who put their trust in Him. (Psalm 2:12)
Here’s what I found interesting in this dream; one person gave a brief but powerful exhortation and then sit down. No one applauded them. Then the next person would speak and so on and so on until the message was complete. The Holy Spirit gave each one a measure of the Word to be delivered and it dovetailed beautifully. Man did not receive recognition -instead the Lord was honored through the obedience of His children.
Am I against man being honored? Absolutely not! But many times we honor the man instead of Christ in the man. Often times we super spiritualize man placing them on a pedestal instead of looking to Christ who is seated on a throne next to His Father. We, as a body of believers, must get our priorities in order. God is speaking to His children – all of them. And He’s giving them “knowing” and “understanding” as they enter deeper into the heart of God.

2021 – New Beginnings

In the dream each table was set for eight and that is the number for new beginnings. I believe 2021 is a year of new beginnings and we are going to see church taking on a new way of doing things as the body of believers becomes more involved in ministry. Once you say, “Yes” to Jesus and are filled with His Holy Spirit, you qualify as a full-time minister. You follow Him and become a fisher of mankind. (Matthew 4:19) Then every place your foot treads should be your point of authority (Joshua 1:3).
Mankind says that we must receive degrees of theology, etc. to preach the Good News. But the Creator of the Universe lives inside us. He’s the Teacher, Healer, Redeemer and our Power source. He’s far greater than Wikipedia or man’s GPS. Please don’t misunderstand what I’m saying. We still need leaders and men/women who are learned in scripture and theology. But the greatest Teacher lives inside every born-again believer and man must not limit believers. God doesn’t limit them that’s why He’s speaking clearly through them. It takes a greater level of maturity to be patient and hear what the Holy Spirit is speaking through the body. There’s much that can be learned from body participation.
2021 is a year of new beginnings. It’s a time of re-setting the table and feasting from the living Word through intimacy with Christ. I believe many who have “kissed the Son” will now come forth in power and release the word by revelation of the Holy Spirit within them. Pulpits are not necessary. Every point of contact is a believer’s stage. Get ready to experience prophetic utterance that will bring salvation as well as healing, miracles and life changing experiences. When God speaks – release the word with confidence and watch what He does. God honors obedience! And His word never fails. (Isaiah 55:10-11)
“For as the rain comes down, and the snow from heaven, and do not return there, but water the earth, and make it bring forth and bud, that it may give seed to the sower and bread to the eater, so shall My word be that goes forth from My mouth; It shall not return to Me void, But it shall accomplish what I please, And it shall prosper in the thing for which I sent it. (Isaiah 55:10-11)
We are living in the end of the end-times and the time of the greater works. Let’s enter into this season with supernatural expectancy and our hearts engaged with God. Let us not look at natural circumstance that surround us but keep our eyes and mind fixed on Him. He is our sustenance and He will keep our feet from stumbling. (Psalm 56:13) Speak His truth in love and remain obedient to God’s will and you will prosper in all things great and small. Amen.
