Charlie and Irma  – Spiritual Beings

In December 2006 Bob had a visitation by two angelic beings, a man and a woman. When they appeared at our front door the woman stood about 3’ tall. Bob invited them in. The man proceeded to sit on one of our chairs while the woman remained standing in the center of the living room. She was dressed very plainly, nothing outstanding about her. Bob said they both looked to be about 55 – 60 years old.  The man was thin and ordinary looking also and was dressed in a suit.

Bob asked the man, “Who are you?”  He responded, “Charlie and Irma! And said they were created by Jesus and were sent to us for this time in history.” Bob asked the man, “Do you have a message?”  He responded, “The last purpose they both had was 70 years ago.” (1936) They were both living beings (angels). Bob said these beings had substance.

Then Charlie pointed to the woman; she was now about five feet tall. Irma brought with her a fresh loaf of hot baked bread. As she began sharing it with me and other women she grew to normal size. Very boldly Irma said, “It’s time for women to come along side their husbands and to be released in ministry!”

Barrenness in the Church

The Church at large is referred to as female; it is often referenced as “She, Her or the Bride.” Recently the Lord was speaking to me about the barrenness of the church and how a new birth would take place because the anointing is coming upon women both in the market place and the church. The Lord indicated that the five-fold has never fully been restored. Women bring forth a greater measure of God’s love, mercy and grace. These are three vital attributes lacking to some degree in the body of Christ. He said, “In this day you’re going to witness My hand upon the brethren to welcome women to the pulpit. More and more I’m anointing and appointing women to take their place. Man cannot deny it! They have the goods and when their mouth opens and power flows forth, they will shut theirs to listen and learn. Man will acknowledge I have sent them.”

Their Welcoming Parties

The Lord also showed me three groups of male leadership and how they will receive these women. The first group readily welcomed them with open arms because they witnessed the anointing on them. The second group reluctantly welcomed them. At first they wanted to label them Jezebel’s and quench the Holy Spirit. Through wisdom they sought the Lord and repented, then gradually they embraced them. They could not deny the holy fear of God flowing through the words they released. However the third group of leaders refused to hear the word of the Lord spoken through anointed women. In fact they hardened their heart toward them. This was not pleasing to God. Concerning this the Lord said, “I will sit them down and quench their voice until they accept them.”

Throughout the centuries various women were anointed and appointed to leadership positions in the body of Christ yet pulpits remain male dominated. Why is that? God formed Eve from Adam’s side and she was called to be his helpmate. She was not called to lag behind but instead to stand beside him. I believe God is exalting women to the place of greater authority – not necessarily greater than man but on the same playing field.

Female Leaders in Scripture

If you look back to the first century church, you will readily see that Paul’s fellow tent makers were a husband and wife named Aquila and Priscilla. They traveled with Paul from Corinth to Ephesus (Acts 18:18) where they met Apollos and instructed him further in the Christian faith. (Acts 18:26) Several times in scripture Priscilla’s name is mentioned first therefore indicating she was the preferred teacher rather than Aquila.

In Paul’s letter to Timothy (2 Timothy 1:5) he tells us that Timothy followed the faith of his grandmother Lois and his mother Eunice. Apparently these two women taught him the scriptures when he was a youth. He later went on to be Paul’s closest assistant and accompanied him on his missionary trips.

It’s obvious the Samaritan woman became the first evangelist. After her encounter with Jesus at the well she ran back to her village to spread the good news of the Messiah and the whole town was converted.

And at this point His disciples came, and they marveled that He talked with a woman; yet no one said, “What do You seek?” or, “Why are You talking with her?” The woman then left her waterpot, went her way into the city, and said to the men, “Come, see a Man who told me all things that I ever did. Could this be the Christ?” Then they went out of the city and came to Him. (John 4:27-30)
The prophetess Huldah was consulted when the lost Book of the Law was found. (2 Chronicles 34:22-28)

Deborah was a prophetess and the only female judge. (Judges 4 & 5) Deborah told Barak that it was God’s will that he lead the army against Sisera. He agreed to go but only if she accompanied him. And she did but Deborah told him the victory would go to a woman. And so it did when Jael drove a tent peg through his temple as he was sleeping.

So she said, “I will surely go with you; nevertheless there will be no glory for you in the journey you are taking, for the Lord will sell Sisera into the hand of a woman.” Then Deborah arose and went with Barak to Kedesh. (Judges 4:9)
A few other female prophets include Anna who prophesied in the Temple to men (Luke 2:36-38), Philip’s daughters (Acts 21:8-9), Miriam (Exodus 15:20), Isaiah’s wife (Isaiah 8:3) and Noadiah (Nehemiah 6:14)
Let us not forget Lydia. She became the first convert to Christianity in Macedonia, in fact all of Europe. Lydia was a dealer in fabrics dyed in purple and the first example of marketplace ministry in the Bible. She was [already] a worshiper of God, and the Lord opened her heart to pay attention to what was said by Paul. (Acts 16:14)

It Is Time!

It’s been 15 years since Bob’s experience with the angelic beings Charlie and Irma. They hadn’t been on the earth for 70 years and now they came with a message. It’s time! Time for women to come along side their husbands! Time to be released in ministry! And time for women to bring forth the word of God in power! In the same way Irma broke bread with the women, today women in ministry will break the Bread of Life in a new and dynamic dimension. Irma was small and I believe that represents humility. Once she took action she grew in size. In the same way you will witness women of today coming to the forefront in humility. Remember God resists the proud but exalts the humble.

But He gives more grace. Therefore He says: “God resists the proud, but gives grace to the humble.” (James 4:6)

I believe that statement stands true for leadership as well. Remember the third group of leaders refused to hear the word of the Lord spoken through anointed women. In fact they hardened their heart toward them and God was not pleased. He said He would sit the leaders down and quench their voice until they accept the women. My hope is for God’s love, mercy and grace to be readily embraced as leaders welcome women to share the spotlight.

I believe we’re getting ready to see power manifest in the body of Christ on a whole new level. And I’m not talking just about women. I’m talking about children as well. It’s time we recognize the anointing of the Holy Spirit, as He moves on the body and Christians not mock or quench what He’s doing. After all He can speak through a child as well as an adult. In fact coming from a child is usually clearer. Their filter is more pure. So let’s get ready to embrace the Spirit of Truth as new voices echo the charge from the pulpit.

The Sands of Time 2020

The Lord took me to a place and I saw the great prophets of the Bible. I saw Elijah, Elisha and all the prophets of the Old Testament. I saw the Apostle John and the martyrs and they had all been told by the Lord to stick their hands into the sands

The Bounce House

I was in a large field of rolling hills. I had a goal of taking flight from this location and was looking for the means to accomplish it. At this point my sister and her husband approached with this small inflatable looking thing.
