God’s Glory Concealed

Often times the Lord speaks to me about things I can’t comprehend so it’s always interesting trying to figure them out. First by praying and seeking understanding then searching scripture to see how it relates to the revelation. But quite often I wait for confirmation to come through a variety of sources. The Lord uses many different ways to get His message across to me. Sometimes I think He enjoys watching the process and/or struggle. I must admit that sometimes it’s clear as mud and then all of a sudden – bingo – I’ve got it. When something clicks it becomes crystal clear.

Recently the Lord spoke something profound that seemed rather confusing at first. He said, “Revolt is success during unwarranted circumstances!” Trust me, I had no clue what this meant however I knew it was from God. And so the process began. Scripture says, It is the glory of God to conceal a matter, but the glory of kings is to search out a matter.”(Proverbs 25:2) According to Revelation 1:5-6 Jesus made us kings and priests to God through the atonement. Therefore God’s glory is concealed while a king’s glory is revealed. God’s glory is hidden within the saying yet it becomes a nugget of glory to the earthly king/priest once they gain understanding.

To better understand what God is saying through this message, let’s break it down word by word. According to Webster:
*Revolt is Rebellion
*Success is Victory
*During is Through
*Unwarranted is Unjustified or Needless
*Circumstance is Conditions, Situations or Environment

So you could say, “Rebellion is Victory Through Unjustified Conditions!” I might add that I was in a suburb of Minneapolis when I received this message and it was coming upon the second anniversary of George Floyd’s death. This one incident sparked rebellion in American cities in a fashion we have not witnessed before.

“Before The Liberty There Was Rebellion!”

Then I heard the Lord say, “Before the Liberty there was Rebellion!” Rebellion is as the sin of witchcraft (1 Samuel 15:23) says the Lord and many believers still dabble in it. They refuse to walk in love and they rebel against Me. How you wonder, can they love unconditionally as I do asks God? Unconditional love releases hope because it’s an extension of My love toward others. My Father bestowed this gift to all who would believe on His Son. Cannot others see this and believe also?”

(My response) Lord I think it’s difficult because we as a people allow our personal feelings to get involved and fail to totally forgive and worse yet – forget. We still allow unforgiveness to rule our life and then judge the offender according to our standards not Yours. Lord, how do we break down those walls of offense and walk in the mature love that you provided us? In Jesus name. Amen.

The Lord answered me saying, “When you are able to forgive others like I forgave them at the cross, you never look back on the offense.  You can’t because there is none. It’s forgiven, it’s as if it never took place. That’s true repentance and active forgiveness. The heart of love can’t remember it. Now deliver My message of unconditional love toward others using the cross as the vantage point. I never looked back! The cross was the greatest victory for all mankind and it must not be overlooked but instead embraced.”

This saying reminds me of the children of Israel and Moses and how they rebelled against God during their wilderness journey. Moses rebelled by striking the rock instead of speaking to it while the children of Israel murmured and complained about their unjustified conditions for forty years. Their rebellion cost them entrance to the Promised Land yet it was victory for Joshua and the next generation.

The Heart Has A Brain

I found an interesting article about Dr. Armour who in 1991 discovered that the heart has its “little brain” or “intrinsic cardiac nervous system.” This “heart brain” is composed of approximately 40,000 neurons that are like neurons in the brain, meaning that the heart has its own nervous system. Therefore when the Lord says the heart of love can’t remember the offense because true repentance is active forgiveness and the heart has no remembrance of it. Therefore we must make the cross our vantage point and never look back!
